Ratings Review: I HATE MY TEENAGE DAUGHTER

This is a series I totally misjudged. I thought it would be a decent, capable sitcom that could find a decent sized audience and build on it in a second season. Boy, was I way off.

Even though that 6.8 million viewers and a 2.8 demo looks decent, it was about a 50% drop from its lead in, THE X-FACTOR. And things only got worse after that.

Viewers know that when a series is pulled quickly, then shows back up 3 months later, its not coming back come September. So, when FOX tried a new time slot for IHMTAD, viewers stayed away in droves. Why invest the time in a series they will never see after the current season.
