Ratings: Broadcast Finals for September 17, 2012
We had two series premieres Monday night and one may already be on lifeline.On FOX, THE MOB DOCTOR drew just 5.1 million viewers and a 1.5 rating in Adults 18-49. that was off by 36% in total viewers and 35% in the demo ratings from lead in BONES. Unfortunately, things will only get worse once CBS and ABC get back into the groove of things.
On NBC, the highly anticipated JJ Abrams series REVOLUTION premiered. Very solid numbers for the sci-fi based series. 11.7 million viewers and a 4.1 demo rating. That is a retention rate of 86% and 87% respectively. A good start for a series that had the pilot episode online for a couple of weeks.
THE VOICE, now in its second week, is performing very well for NBC. Week-to-week, the Monday edition grew 10% in viewers and 12% in Adults 18-49. Given the increased competition form both NBC and FOX, that is a very strong positive.
