Are You Ready for Some Football? Apparently, America is. Five of the top six most watched programs for the week were football programs, including the most watched SUNDAY NIGHT GAME ever.
The return of Peyton Manning to the football field drew a record 27.6 million viewers and a dominating 11.0 rating in Adults 18-49. NBC backed that up with nearly 24 million tuning in on Wednesday night for the kick-off game (Dallas vs NY Giants), NBC just dominated the week in the network ratings.
The only bad news NBC had was that AMERICA'S GOT TALENT was finally topped by both HELL'S KITCHEN and MASTERCHEF in the A18-49 ratings. AGT Tuesday was only able to collect a 2.4 demo ratings, while HK drew a 2.6 rating and MASTERCHEF a 2.7 rating.
