XXX Summer Olympics Broadcast Ratings: 10 Day Review
(NBC Press Release) The 2012 London Olympics are still strong and breaking ratings records. After ten days, these games are the most watched Olympic games, not including the Atlanta games in 1996 or the LA Games in 1984.
The ten day average (July 27 - Aug. 5) is 33.6 million viewers and a household rating of 18.8/ 32 share. This is easily besting the Athen games in 2004 and the China games in 2008.
NBC also released regional and market based ratings.
