Ratings Review: TERRA NOVA

When you look at the ratings for the 13 episodes of TERRA NOVA, they are not all that bad, when you consider the competition it had. Other series did get renewed with smaller ratings. What ultimately killed the series was its production budget. For that money, TERRA NOVA needed 10 million viewers and a demo rating approaching a 4.0.

I would like to have seen how well TERRA NOVA would have done during the winter/spring, when NFL and other sports out of the mix. It could have sustained numbers close to its premiere, instead of falling 30%.
