Ratings: Broadcast Finals for August 21, 2012

AMERICA'S GOT TALENT won the night in both viewers and in the 18-49 demographic, but there should be major concern over the recent erosion of the demo ratings. It is down at least 20% from before the Olympics and more since it was dominating, back in July.

MASTERCHEF performed nicely with an almost equal demo rating as AGT, but with far less viewers. Both Ramsey led cooking shows are gaining momentum as they approach crowning a  winner on each series.

ABC should be ver concerned with its 9pm comedies. Once again, the ratings got worse as the hut levels rise. Expect a quick switch to FAMILY TOOLS and PARENTS (Title to long to write) by November sweeps.
