Complete Nielsen Ratings: Week of 08/20/12
The full Nielsen rankings and ratings from #1 to #93:
The once dominate AMERICA'S GOT TALENT is now, not so dominate. It did, barely, rank as the #1 program in total viewers, but it only ranked #5 in the Adult 18-49 ratings. With NFL preseason game trending up and the red hot HELL'S KITCHEN, this may be the last week AGT is found at the top of either chart.
NBC places three programs in the top 20. Both editions of AMERICA'S GOT TALENT and SUNDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL. The remainder of the top 20 is populated by 12 CBS shows, three FOX programs and two programs from ABC.
As wen enter the last month of the summer season, the out look for FOX and CBS are looking good. Viewers are beginning to return to their favorite programs, mainly on CBS, and are getting excited about the crowning of champions, HELL'S KITCHEN, MASTERCHEF and BIG BROTHER. NBC will limp in to start the 2012-13 season, but ABC is totally left out in the cold. It has not had any summer success since the NBA Finals.
