Rating Review: THE FIRM

To say that the 2011-12 was not NBC's year is an understatement. THE FIRM is a typical debacle by NBC during that season. Why NBC ordered 22 episodes before it aired, is beyond me. But again, this is NBC.

THE FIRM is just another entry in failed remakes/adaptation in recent years. But unlike failed series like THE BIONIC WOMAN and KNIGHT RIDER, THE FIRM never got a huge sampling. It started off bad and things only got worse.

By the time the February sweeps arrived, THE FIRM was shipped off to the dreaded Saturday Night slot. Where it would be forgotten and left for dead. Oddly enough, its Saturday night ratings were not much off from its final Thursday night airing. below 3 million viewers.

With three strikes over recent years, you do have to wonder why NBC order the MUNSTERS remake MOCKINGBIRD LANE.
