Complete Nielsen Ratings: Week of 07/16/12
The full Nielsen rankings and ratings from #1 to #95:
CBS wins another week with the most viewers, but ABC takes the 18-49 crown on the strength of the THE BACHELORETTE finale and AFTER THE ROSE special on Sunday night.
With a line up of mostly repeats and three editions of BIG BROTHER, CBS grabs over half the slots of the top 25 most watched programs. It also clamed the #2 over all program with THE BIG BANG THEORY (8.99 million viewers).
Despite winning the 18-49 crown for the week, ABC only placed five programs in the top 25, three of which were THE BACHELORETTE. The two Sunday editions were the only programs for the week to crack the 3.0 demo rating, with a 3.1 rating each. Of note for ABC is the unexpected decent numbers for a repeat of AFV on Sunday night. The home video show drew 5.3 million viewers to place #21 on the chart.
NBC claimed the #1 program of the week with the Tuesday edition of AMERICA'S GOT TALENT. It posted a dominate 10.2 million viewers.
ION TV topped The CW once again in the weekly ratings. ION drew 1.12 million viewers to the CW's 740 thousand viewers. For the 2011-12 season, ION's average has pulled to within 430,000 viewers to the CW's average. Both nets posted a 0.3 demo ratings, keeping The CW in the lead with a 0.4 advantage.
