NBC Dominates the Weekly ratings... Yes, you heard that right. NBC Dominated in the weekly ratings!
NBC did very well this past week as the continuing coverage of the US OLYMPIC TRIALS pull in strong numbers. it also helped that the weaker shows were preempted by the Trials coverage. All but three of its programs placed in the top 40 programs for the week. That included the three editions of AMERICA'S GOT TALENT, eleven installments of the US OLYMPIC TRIALS, plus LOVE IN THE WILD and AMERICAN NINJA WARRIOR. Only ROCK CENTER, THE FIRM and SAVING HOPE finished in the bottom half of the weekly chart.
NBC came away with the top four programs, seven of the top 10 and eleven of the top 20.
CBS also did well in the total viewers chart, capturing eleven of the top 30 spots. In fact, only two spots of the top 20 were not from NBC and CBS. ABC placed THE BACHELORETTE at # 11 and the season premiere of WIPEOUT at #20. The top FOX program was SYTYCD at #24.
On the 18-49 demographic chart, NBC was even more dominate, taking the top five spots. AGT took spots two through four, while the US OLYMPIC TRIALS took spots #1 and #5. FOX placed five programs in the top 15, lead by both HELL'S KITCHEN and MASTERCHEF.
