The Watching Dead: The Worst of Friday & Saturday TV Ratings (June 29-30)

NBC shines as the US Olympic Trials draws viewers and demo ratings. Friday, it drew a 2.0 rating and 7.65 milliln viewers for 9pm to 11pm. Saturdays coverage was less, but stll drew over 6 million viewers and 1.5 demo rating. In comparison, the rest of the programing was dead.

The Dead of Friday Night:
HOUSE, all those millions of viewers that eztched over the yrsrs contracted a terminal illness, died and know ate the poster children of THE WATCHING DEAD. Just 1.84 million viewers tuned in Friday night, worsy of the Big 4. Come late july, it could been under a million.

BONES was only a little better, 2.14 million, but not enough to get FOX above a two million average for the night.

as for the rest of tne nights, only one program, besides the Olympic Trials, could attract more than five million viewers, BLUE BLOODS on CBS. Everything else was DEAD.

The Dead of Saturday Night:
MLB Games on FOX drew under 3 million viewers. The only thing deader is THE FIRM with 2.5 million viewers. But dont worry, the nightmare is almost over with both programs gone very soon.

ABC gave us two hours of last years cancelled EM: HOME EDITION (kill me now!). A measly 2 million viewers had absolutely nothing else to do nor were they sleepy enough to go to bed.

The networks do need to find more programming like the US Olympic Trials. Sports that are not over saturated, like MLB.
