Also doing very well for ABC was the Friday night special MEGASTUNTS: High-wire over Niagara Falls. 10.3 million viewers watched the two hour coverage of the stunt. ABC would be wise to spin this series off to a regular monthly series.
NBC did well with its coverage of the US Open Golf Tournament.both Saturday night and Sunday night telecasts made the top 10. When Tiger is doing well and only has an outside chance to win, viewers tune in to watch golf.
CBS is still doing well with its repeat strategy as 15 of its programs posted in the top 30 chart. The highest ranking repeat that is NOT a CBS program was CASTLE at #34. However, CBS did have the worst performing program, not on The CW... HOW TO BE A GENTLEMAN. It attracted just 1.4 million viewers, with an original burn off episode on Saturday night.
