HATFIELDS and MCCOYS Close Out to Big Ratings
The third and final night of the HATFIELDS and MCCOYS is now the #1 non-sports telecast in ad supported cable television history, with 14.3 million total viewers, 6.3 million adults 25-54 and 4.7 million Adults 18-49 (based on Nielsen’s fast cable ratings). Part 1 premiered, on Monday, with 13.9 million viewers.
The three night mini-series now holds the top three non-sports telecasts in ad supported cable TV history. Over the three nights, HATFIELDS and MCCOYS averaged 13.8 million total viewers, 6 million adults 25-54 and 3.9 million adults 18-49. The event television this has become will/should change how all networks, cable and broadcast, develop programming in the future.
