The full Nielsen rankings and ratings from #1 to #87:
CBS, again, dominates the charts as the balance of its series aired their season finales. The eye network placed 14.5 hours of programming (15 shows) in the top 30 chart of total viewers. Only the encores from Friday and Saturday were excluded. Its weekly average was 3 million more viewers than both ABC and FOX. CBS owns the #1 show of the week (NCIS) and the #1 comedy (MIKE and MOLLY - #11).
ABC also had a good week as it placed nine programs in the top 30, led by both editions of DANCING WITH THE STARS (#5, #9).
On the 18-49 demo ratings, FOX easily took both the #1 and #2 spots with AMERICAN IDOL and edges out CBS for the weekly crown, 2..2 to 2.1. GREY'S ANATOMY capped off a resurgent spring run as the week's #1 drama in the demo ratings. MODERN FAMILY and TWO AND A HALF MEN both posted 3.9 ratings to share the #1 comedy spot.
CBS takes 11 spots in the top 30 demo ratings chart, ABC and FOX both score 8 spots, NBC takes the final three spots with two editions of AMERICA'S GOT TALENT (#6, #11) and the season finale of CELEBRITY APPRENTICE (#25).
Speaking of AMERICA'S GOT TALENT, the summer series is showing that it can compete with the big boys of the regular season. NBC should have promoted the series to a fall run and keep THE VOICE fresh with only a spring run each season.
