Live + 7 Ratings: Top 7s for April 2 - 8

Thursday nights is the night to watch TV, or at least DVR your favorite shows. Four of the top 7 programs, in total viewers, aired live on Thursday nights. The next biggest night for the DVR? Wednesdays.

A somewhat surprised showing in the #2 spot, in total viewers, was PERSON OF INTEREST. Besting THE BIG BANG THEORY is no easy task.

IN the demo ratings, THE VOICE has both editions making the list. Along with AMERICAN IDOL, the singing competition series are the dominate genre. However, it is THE BIG BANG THEORY that is the top dog in the demo ratings, with a 5.8 rating.

Outside the top 7 was NEW GIRL with the biggest gain in the demographic ratings. it jumped 1.6 points from Live+SD numbers of a 2.3 rating.
