Ratings: Broadcast Finals for March 14, 2012
There is a new column to the Daily Chart, the percentage of total viewers gained or loss from the lead-in program. Now you can see exactly how good, or bad, a program does with its lead in audience.
Highlights:
- AMERICAN IDOL not only posted the top numbers for the night, but bested THE VOICE's numbers from Monday night.
- Despite a weak lead in, MODERN FAMILY gained 70% more of SUBURGATORY's audience.
- CSI grew slightly over CRIMINAL MINDS leadin audience and maintained the demo rating.
Low-Lights:
- I have to lump the entire NBC lineup together. A horrible lead in by WHITNEY is the best the network can do as each program got even worse.
- HAPPY ENDINGS for the biggest drop in total viewers. It lost over 50% of MODERN FAMILIES audience.
