Complete Nielsen Ratings for Week of Jan. 23, 2012
AMERICAN IDOL flexed it muscle and pushed FOX to the top of the season-to-date charts.The reality series took the top two spots in both viewers and the 18-49 Demographic. Even the encore airing of last week's episode finished in the top 20 of both categories.
Finishing third was CBS' THE BIG BANG THEORY, now TV's top comedy and scripted series. But, there were a lot of other series in repeats that allowed the strong showings.
