Ion Takes 5th Place for the Week

The Network weekly averages are in and ION overtakes The CW for the week ending March 20th, 2011.

ION bested The CW in the house hold ratings with a 0.9 rating, 2 share, and a total of 1.02 million homes. The CW only averages 800K total homes and had a 0.7 rating and a 1 share.

ION also had more total viewers last week. ION drew an average of 1.3 million viewers, while The CW averaged 1.06 million. Both networks averaged a 0.4 viewer rating and a 1 share.

In the 18-49 Demo, the networks tied in the ratings, each with a 0.4 rating and a 1 share, but the CW did get a slight edge in viewers over ION, with 550K to 460 K.

Meanwhile.... FOX continues its spring, American Idol, dominance by topping in all three categories. FOX was first in Households (5.5 rating), Viewers (9.37 million) and demo (3.2 rating/10 share).
