Four Week Trend - Monday Nights

As we enter the fourth week of the 2010 fall season, we can begin to see what the new  series are doing and what their fate may be for the rest of the season.

We already have one casualty on Monday nights as FOX rightly canceled LONESTAR after two episodes. Some may have loved the new drama, but the masses stayed away in droves.

MIKE & MOLLY
09/20/10 - 12.23 million, 3.9 demo
09/27/10 - 11.12 million, 3.7 demo
10/04/10 - 12.21 million, 3.9 demo
10/11/10 - 10.72 million, 3.5 demo

A solid performer holding most of its audience that sampled this romantic comedy.

Hawaii Five-O
09/20/10 - 14.20 million, 3.9 demo
09/27/10 - 12.74 million, 3.6 demo
10/04/10 - 12.24 million, 3.5 demo
10/11/10 - 10.70 million, 3.1 demo

Holding up well, losing only 15% of its premiere numbers, outside of the ESPN MNF game on 11/11

The Event
09/20/10 - 10.88 million, 3.6 demo
09/27/10 - 9.06 million, 2.9 demo
10/04/10 - 7.56 million, 2.4 demo
10/11/10 - 6.05 million, 2.2 demo

The MNF Ding from 11/11 didn't help, but it was still dropping, regardless. At this rate, it will not get a back 9 order.

Chase
09/20/10 - 7.31 million, 2.3 demo
09/27/10 - 6.33 million, 2.1 demo
10/04/10 - 5.78 million, 1.7 demo
10/11/10 - 4.92 million, 1.5 demo

Started is low and has only gotten worse. A top 5 candidate for early cancellation

  1. Are these dates off by a month? How can you know November already?
