Complete Broadcast Ratings for Week Ending May 23, 2010
DANCING WITH THE STARS was the most watched program last week, but AMERICAN IDOL is still king of the Demo. Tops in the Scripted genre are the dramas NCIS and NCIS: LA, taking spots 4 and 5. THE BIG BANG THEORY is the most watched comedy on TV, ranking #8 over all.
This was the final full week of the regular TV season. As the networks close out 2009-10, FOX was top dog in the 18-49 demographic, scoring a 3.6 rating. That is 0.4 better than 2nd place CBS. FOX & CBS were the only to networks to rate higher than a 3 in the demo. ABC and NBC are currently tied at 2.7 with the final 3 days in the sweeps to come.
CBS will be the #1 network in total viewers, with just under a 12 million average. FOX comes in a distant second with an average of just over 9.9 million viewers
