Web Series "Vamped Out" Premieres April 12th

(fangoria.com) A new on-line series exploring the lighter side of vampirism arrives next week as VAMPED OUT premieres Monday, April 12 exclusively on Babelgum’s web and mobile platform’s Comedy Channel. We got the info as well as an exclusive poster, so jump past the jump for more.

The directorial debut of actor Kevin Pollak, who’s best known for humorous fare and THE USUAL SUSPECTS but has done genre turns in END OF DAYS and OTIS, VAMPED OUT also co-stars Pollak as Elliot Finke, a documentary filmmaker who supposedly went missing while putting the finishing touches on his latest project. This entailed him chronicling the “life” of a vampire (Jason Antoon) trying to make a living as an actor in LA—but constantly getting turned down for roles as a creature of the night. The cast also includes Samm Levine, Seana Kofoed and Sebastian Roche, and the cinematographer was Robert Legato, an Oscar-winning (for TITANIC) visual FX artist whose credits also include SHUTTER ISLAND, WHAT LIES BENEATH and INTERVIEW WITH THE VAMPIRE. You can read more about VAMPED OUT and, starting next Monday, watch it at Babelgum’s site here.
