The Winter Olympics are, sadly over. Now we can get back to our regular programming. ABC, CBS and FOX are all glad too. The Winter Olympics took most of the top spots, only being nudged by American Idol. Idol was the top draw in viewers 18-49.
NBC made up some decent ground in the 18-49 demographic, season to date. Going into the Winter Olympics, NBC had a 2.6 average rating. 3 weeks later it up to a full 3.0 rating. Passing ABC and coming to within 0.3 points of CBS. But, reality will set in from hear out. Perhaps NBC should refocus the network and go totally Sports Programming. if it were not for the NFL and the Olympics, NBC would look even worse than it is.
