Cable TV Ratings for Week Ending March 28, 2010

LIFE continues to bring in the viewers with the two episodes drawing in 5.28 million viewers and a very solid 1.9 demo rating. But as good as those ratings are, they can't compete with the Nick Choice Awards.

The Kids awards program drew a strong 7.64 million viewers, tops in cable. That led into the series premiere of VICTORIOUS, from the creators of iCarly and Drake & Josh, which attracted 5.70 million viewers. Both of the programs aired on a Saturday night. I guess the KIDS took control of the romote over March Madness.

Week 2 of spring premires series saw BREAKING BAD drop to just 1.55 million viewers and a 0.7 demo rating. That is about a 20% loss from its 3rd season premiere. This series and MAD MEN seem to be a show that everyone SAYS they watch, but dont really watch. Is it cool/hip to say you watch these shows? Does it make you feel good to say you watch them? What ever the reason, not many are WATCHING them.

  1. Everyone should be watching Breaking Bad and Mad Men. But I think a lot of people wait for DVD. It's the best way to watch them.
