CW May Stick Around
The money-losing CW is surviving because its shows are profitable for studios owned by its parent companies, Time Warner and CBS Corp., TelevisionWeek reports. "It's a really synergistic relationship," Nancy Tellem, president of the CBS Paramount Network Television Entertainment Group, tells the trade paper. "The value of the network is not just simply based on the relationship with advertisers but the assets that you’re building on the network platform."
