NBCU Olympic Ratings

NBC is still striking GOLD with its 2008 Olympics coverage. Saturday night’s broadcast drew an average of 24.1 million viewers, which is better than the Athens games by nearly 4.5 million viewers. The night peaked at the 10pm half hour with 28.7 million average viewers, which featured the goldmedal performance of Michael Phelps in the 400 IM.

The Day of Saturday, NBCU's Networks reached 92 million total viewers, which is about 14 million better than the 2004 games.
