US Box Office Results: July 12 - 14, 2019

SPIDER-MAN: FAR FROM HOME retains its #1 spot at the box office, collecting another $45.3 million and holding off newcomers, CRAWL and STUBER. The Sony film has brought in $274.5 million, domestically, after nearly two weeks in theaters, $114 million more than its $160 million production budget. Worldwide, the 7th film of the franchise has grossed over $847 million.

CRAW (#3) held of STUBER at the to new film of the weekend, with a domestic gross of $12 million, nearly matching its $13.5 million production budget. The comedy STUBER was 4th on the weekend, with just an $8 million take.

With the new THE LION KING coming out this Friday, Disney has a chance at four movies in the top 15. AVENGERS: ENDGAME ranked 12th this weekend, with a $1.7 million gross and should stay within the top 15 next weed, with just the one major release. If not, the climatic Marvel film will have accumulated over $851 million, domestically, right in between STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS (#1) and AVATAR (#3), on the all-time list.
