Preliminary Ratings: Tuesday 09/04/2018

With AMERICA'S GOT TALENT leading the way, NBC takes the Tuesday night ratings. The summer hit took in 10.6 million viewers and a 1.8 rating in the key, A18-49 demographic. The Season finale of MAKING IT lost about 60% of its lead in, retaining just 3.8 million viewers and a 0.8 demo rating. On the Night, NBC averaged 8.3 million viewers and a 1.5 demographic rating.

ABC was second with BACHELOR IN PARADISE getting a 1.0 in the key demo, and drawing 3.9 million total viewers. CASTAWAYS held on to just over half of its lead in, with 2.2 million viewers and a 0.5 demo. ABC's average on the night was a 0.8 demo rating and 3.3 million viewers.

CBS edged FOX for third, averaging five million viewers and a 0.6 demographic rating, for its crime drama encores. FOX, aired SHAZAM, 2.1 million viewers, 0.7 demo, and LOVE CONNECTION, 1.5 million viewers, 0.4 demo, and averaged just 1.8 million viewers and  a 0.6 demo rating.

An all-encore CW averaged just 700,000 viewers and a 0.2 demographic rating.
