Final Broadcast ratings: March 28, 2018

The return of EMPIRE and STAR pushed FOX to a nightly win, averaging a 2.0 rating in Adults 18-49 and a 1.4 in the younger, A18-34 demographic. EMPIRE was up from the fall finale, by a three-tenth of a point in the A18-49 demo and a few hundred thousand in total viewers.

CBS was second on the night, with another solid outing by SURVIVOR, the most watched program of the night and #2 in all the demographic ratings. CRIMINAL MINDS won the 10 PM Hour, with NBC's CHICAGO PD taking the night off.

A special Wednesday night edition of THE VOICE rose NBC to third place on the night, but the two hour episode was the lowest rated of the spring season.

ABC was 4th on the night, as the new sitcom, ALEX INC. had a rather soft premiere, despite being sandwiched between THE GOLDBERGS and MODERN FAMILY. The comedy lost 20% in the demo, out of GOLDBERGS, and was 4th in its 8:30 half hour time slot.
