Final Broadcast Ratings: January 2, 2018

NBC takes the first Tuesday night of 2018, with a strong performance of back-to-back episode of ELLEN'S GAME OF GAMES. The two hour block was #1 in all three demographic categories and #3 in total viewership, on the night. At 10 PM, CHICAGO MED retained just 63% of the A18-49 crowd and 78% in total viewership.

CBS was the most watched network and #2 in the demos, with an all-original line up from its Tuesday crime dramas.

FOX was third on the night, as the series premiere of LA TO VEGAS had a relatively good opening night, retaining all of its lead in audience in the A18-49 demographic and dropped just a tenth of a point in the other two demos. It tied BLACK-ISH in the 9:00 to 9:30 PM half-hour, in the A18-49 demographic. At 9:30, THE MICK dropped 28% of the demo lead in.

ABC was pushed back to fourth place, as all of its Tuesday night line up was back in original, except hit comedy, MODERN FAMILY. With out its top show of the night, ABC fell behind FOX, which has generally ben 4th on the night. THE MIDDLE did come in second in the 8 PM half hour, while KPSTW was last in the 10 PM hour.
