Final Broadcast Ratings: August 3, 2017

The NFL played its first game since the Super Bowl, in February, and 8.3 million viewers were hungry enough to watch third and fourth string players face off in Canton, Ohio. The game did decent demographic ratings, a 1.8 in the A18-34 age group and 2.5 in the A18-49 group. We can't compare ratings to last year, as no game was played due to poor field conditions (mid-field logo paint issues). But, in 2015, the game drew 10.2 million viewers and posted a 3.6 demo rating.

CBS takes second place, behind another solid outing from BIG BROTHER. But, the lead out, ZOO, must be pulled, or at the very least, not renewed. The drama drops nearly 80% of its demographic audiences and over 60% in total viewership, is beyond horrible.

FOX edges ABC, especially in the younger demographics, and The CW matches ABC in the A18-34 demo.
