Final Broadcast Ratings: April 3, 2017

The end of March Madness came with the final game of the tournament. The championship game, featuring North Carolina vs Gonzaga, drew 2.3 million viewers and a solid 7.1 rating in Adults 18-49. Compared to last year's game, on TBS & TNT, viewership is up by 6 million viewers and the demo rose 27%. Compared to the last CBS coverage of the game, in 2015, the numbers drop by 5.3 million viewers and two full points in the demo.

The only other programming with any life on the night was ABC's DANCING WITH THE STARS and NBC's THE VOICE. Head to head, THE VOICE dominated in the demos, topping DWTS in each category, including 30% in the A18-34 and A18-49 demos. Both shows were down, week-to-week, because of the game.
