Weekly CW Ratings: January 23 - 27, 2017

For the first time in two months, The CW was all original for the entire week. All ten series were back and running new episodes and the ratings followed, as the network averaged 1.5 million viewers for the week. The three age demo ratings were closer to season averaged, up two tenths each from last week's numbers.

The lone series premiere of the week, RIVERDALE did relative good retention out of SUPERNATURAL. It held 80% of the total lead in audience and only dropped a tenth of a point in the A18-34 and A1849 demographics.

The week's top rated shows, of course, THE FLASH, drawing tip numbers in all four reported categories. SUPERGIRL was just a hair behind in total viewers.

Fridays continue to be the weak spot, as THE VAMPIRE DIARIES and CRAZY EX-GIRLFRIEND were the two of the three lowest rated shows of the network. Exiting series, FREQUENCY was in between the two shows, in 9th.

For the week, The CW averaged 1.5 million viewers, a 0.4 rating in Adults 18-34, a 0.5 rating in Adults 18-49 and a 0.6 rating in Adults 25-54.
