Top 15 Cable Sports Events: Dec. 31, 2016 - Jan 1, 2017

As expected, this weekend's most watched games on cable were the two Semi-final games for the NCAA Championship. Between ESPN and ESPN2, the two games drew near identical 19+ million viewers. The Ohio State v Clemson game had a higher A18-49 rating, posting a 5.6 rating.

Four Premiere League soccer matches made this weekend's chart, with the Middlesbough v Manchester U match leading the way with just under 600,000 total viewers, for NBC Sports Net.

High School Football placed 8th on the weekend, collecting 540,000 viewers, nationally.
