Weekly CW Ratings: October 17 - 21, 2016

The CW premiered its last three fall series and it is the first time the CW was all original since last season. Of the three premiere, JANE THE VIRGIN did the best, grabbing 1.1 million viewers and a 0.4 rating in Adults 18-49. Neither Friday night series managed to get over the one million viewer mark, but THE VAMPIRE DIARIES did equal JANE in the A18-49 and A25-54 demos.

CRAZY EX-GIRLFRIEND shows us why it should have been cancelled last season, collecting just over 500,000 viewers for its premiere episode. It is 44% below last fall's series premiere and down 35% from the season finale, in April.

SUPERGIRL and THE FLASH are the network's top shows, each grabbing 2.7 million viewers, with THE FLASH doing slightly better in the younger demographics.

For the week, the CW averaged 1.50 million viewers, a 0.4 rating in Adults 18-34 a 0.5 rating in Adults 18-49and a 0.6 rating in Adults 25-54. That is down from last week's averages.
