Primetime Cable Ratings: September 29, 2016

THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL surged to the top of the Thursday night cable ratings, with the NFL Network having an exclusive game on the schedule. 7.9 million viewers tuned into the AFC match up of the Bengals vs the Dolphins. The game also posted a 3.0 rating in Adults 18-49. The total draw of TFN was about 10 million viewers less than when the game is simulcasted on CBS, but the NFL Network collected twice the number of viewers it usually does when the broadcast network airs the game.

The News is still drawing viewers, with seven of the top 15 shows coming from FOX News, MSNBC and CNN. FOX News and MSNBC both places their entire line up on the chart, while CNN only placed its 10 PM program at 15th.
