Preliminary Ratings: Sunday 02/07/2016

Super Bowl Sundays is only about one network, one game. Super Bowl 50 will be the year's top rated program, drawing over 100 million viewers and a 34.1 rating in Adults 18-49. The game's ratings are strong, thanks to a close game for roughly 55 of the 60 minutes of play. Last year's game, played on NBC, draw 102 million viewers and a 3.5 rating in Adults 18-49, in the preliminary ratings. SB 49 posted 114 million viewers and a 39.1 demo rating, in the final numbers. Denver won the game, their third, 24-10.

Not listed in the preliminary ratings, was the special Live episode of THE LATE SHOW with Stephen Colbert. In the metered-markets, the show posted a 11.0 household rating, with a 21 share. 12:30 AM, THE LATE LATE SHOW posted a 3.5 rating, 10 share.
