Ratings Review: SEX & DRUGS & ROCK & ROLL (Season One)

The new Denis Leary series, SEX & DRUGS & ROCK & ROLL did not quite live up tot he expectations of his previous series, RESCUE ME. The premiere failed to capture even a million viewers and the last two episode didn't even bring in 500k. But, despite those low numbers, FX did pick up the series for a second season.

In the Live+SD ratings, SDRR averaged just 610,000 viewers and a 0.3 rating in each of the three demographic categories. The DVR numbers are not much better. Towards the end of the season run, the series was only adding another tenth, or two, of a ratings point to the A18-49 demo.
