Ratings Review: PUBLIC MORALS (Season One)
It has been quite a while since I have seen a TV series premiere so well, and fall so far. From premiere to finale, PUBLIC MORALS lost 77% of its viewers. The A18-49 rating fell below a 0.1 ratings, but with rounding, it "bottomed" at a 0.1. Ed Burns created the series and wrote and directed all 10 episodes, so the lack of success will fall squarely on him. I doubt we will see an Ed Burns project anytime soon from TNT or, perhaps any other network.
The Live+SD ratings are a little skewed because of the first two weeks of decent numbers, but for the season, it averaged 880,000 viewers and a 0.2 rating in Adults 18-49. DVR numbers are only for the first three weeks, before the ratings tanked.
