Ratings Review: THE CARMICHAEL SHOW (Season One)

For the second straight year, NBC has picked up a freshman summer sitcom for a second season. After a relatively decent six episodes run, THE CARMICHAEL SHOW has continued life beyond the summer of 2015.

In the Live+SD ratings, THE CARMICHAEL SHOW averaged 4.33 million viewers, a 0.6 rating in the A18-34 demo, a 1.0 rating in the A18-49 demo and a 1.4 in the A25-54 demo. That is very similar to numbers MR. ROBINSON generated, in the same time slot, over the three previous weeks. Yet, MR. ROBINSON did not get picked up for another season.

In the Live+3 ratings, viewership only grew by a few hundred thousand and the A18-49 demo rating rose 10%. In the Live+7 ratings, total viewership averaged 4.9 million viewers (+14%) and the A18-49 demo was a 1.3 rating (30%).
