Ratings Review: BLUNT TALK (Season One)

You would think a series like BLUN TALK, starring Patrick Stewart, would do relatively decent ratings, even with airing on a smaller premium channel, like Starz. By thinking that, you would be wrong. Most of the 10 episode season failed to draw 200,000 viewers. The A18-49 demographic was almost nonexistent. Unfortunately for Starz, there are 10 more episodes coming for 2016.

The ratings are one of the lowest I have seen for a major cable series. just a 220,000 viewer average for the season and a A18-49 demographic that, when rounding up, is just a 0.1 rating. I guess viewers accepted BLUNT TALK about as well as they accepted Piers Morgan, on CNN. This series makes most Showtime series ratings look good. And that is very hard to do.
