Ratings Review: BOSTON EMS (Season One)

You have to give kudos to ABC for placing a new series directly on Saturday nights, during the summer. Ratings were not anything to brag about, but BOSTON EMS probably did much better than encores of CASTLE or HOW TO GET AWAY WITH MURDER.

Just five episodes aired for the series averaged about 2.5 million viewers and a 0.5 rating in Adults 18-49. Surprisingly, that 0.5 demo rating would look at 100% increase by the Live+7 ratings. A fairly decent increase for the type of show it is and the season its was airing. It will be interesting to see if ABC will return the show for a 2016 summer run.
