Ratings Review: WORLDS FUNNIEST FAILS (Season One)
You know it has been bad for FOX this season, when a series pulls under three million viewers and a sub-one demo rating, is the best show you have placed on Friday nights, in the past few years. WORLD'S FUNNIEST FAILS did just that and was one of the few (relative) bright spots on this season's FOX schedule.
By no means, is WFF a hot or promising hit series. But it did what no other show, that is not featuring Gordon Ramsey, has been able to do on the night. Draw a decent amount of viewers. UTOPIA did no better than these numbers, at its best, and GLEE only wished it could do numbers this good.
For the nine episode season, WORLDS FUNNIES FAILS averaged 2.82 million viewers and a 0.9 rating in Adults 18-49. It would not surprise me to see FOX order at least 13 more episodes of this series, as filler for if/when something bombs next fall.
