Ratings Review: VIKINGS (Season Three)

If you are not a fan of VIKINGS, you should be. The second to last episode of the season, the siege of Paris, was one of the best, action packed episodes I have seen, from a TV series, in a very long time, if ever.

VIKINGS is one of the stronger scripted cable series on the air, right now, grabbing about two and a half million viewers, each and every week. Compare that to MAD MEN and it averaged about 500,000 more viewers, each week.

In the live_SD ratings, VIKINGS averaged 2.45 million viewers and a 0.8 rating in Adults 18-49. The Live+3 ratings increased those numbers to 4.18 million viewers (+71%) and a 15. demo rating (+88%). The two data points we have for Live+& ratings indicate another 300,000 viewers and upping the demo rating to over 100%, from its Same Day numbers.

VIKINGS will be back for a fourth season, and like the first three, is should be a great ride.
