Ratings Review: SIRENS (Season Two)

In a year that had been brutal to comedies, SIRENS was one of the better performing sitcoms, on cable. But not even that was not enough to keep the program afloat, after this seasons season.

SIRENS never reached a million viewers, in season two, but when you compare its numbers, to its cable counterparts, it was near the top of the heap. Its numbers are better than Showtime's EPISODES. It out performs all FX and FXX comedies, in which FXX renewed MAN SEEKING WOMAN, with just a 200k viewership average. It almost does not seem fair.

For the season, SIRENS averaged 750,000 viewers and a 0.4 rating in Adults 18-49. There is no season three coming, as USA axed the comedy, soon after its season finale.
