Ratings Review: SHAMELESS (Season Five)

SHAMELESS has become on of the more popular Showtime series, since DEXTER left the network, a few years back. It actually pulls over a million viewers, even approaching two million, for some episodes. Wait, are we sure this airs on Showtime?

Yes, I am kidding, but showtime has had a long string of series that do very little in attracting viewers. Off the top of my head, only DEXTER, HOMELAND and SHAMELESS have been the closest thing to popular, the network has released.

For the season, SHAMELESS averaged 1.58 million viewers and a 0.7 rating in Adults 18-49. That is just behind HOMELAND in viewers, but tops it in the A18-49 demo. The series will be back in 2016 for 12 more episodes.
