Ratings Review: BLACK SAILS (Season Two)

Any series on Starz will be ratings challenged. It doesn't have the subscriber base that HBO or Showtime has. But, BLACK SAILS did pull in relatively good ratings, topping most shows on Showtime and some of the more recent offerings by HBO.

BLACK SAILS has better viewership than HBO's LOOKING, GIRLS and TOGETHERNESS. It also tops Showtime's HOUSE OF LIES, EPISODES and most episodes of NURSE JACKIE.

For the season, BLACK SAIS averaged 730,000 viewers per episode. The series will be back in 2016 for a third season.
