  • New MILLIONAIRE host named
  • CW sets summer schedule
  • HBO renews two comedies

MILLIONAIRE changing hosts again:
The syndicated game show will have a new host for the third straight season, as Chris Harrison was name the new host, replacing Terry Crews, starting this September. Harrison is the host of ABC's THE BACHELOR franchise.



VH1 Got Game:
VH1 has given the greenlight to the new reality series SHE GOT GAME, starring rapper Jayceon Taylor, a.k.a. The Game. The series will premiere sometime this summer.



Lifetime renews freshman drama:
THE GOOD WITCH was renewed for a 12 episode, second season, by Lifetime.



CW sets summer schedule:
The CW will have five returning series and four new series, set to run over the summer of 2015.
    Mondays:
    July 6 - PENN & TELLER: FOOL US (8pm)
    July 6 - WHOSE LINE IS IT ANYWAY? (9pm)
    Aug. 3 - SIGNIFICANT OTHER (9:30 p.m.) - new series

    Wednesdays:
    Aug. 5 - AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL (8pm)
    Aug. 5 - A WICKED OFFER (9pm) - new series

    Thursdays:
    May 21 - BEAUTY & THE BEAST (9pm)
    July 9 - DATES (9pm) - new series

    Fridays:
    July 10 - MASTERS OF ILLUSION (8pm)
    July 10 - THE MESSENGERS (9pm) - new series


HBO renews comedies:
As they have their season premieres, HBO has renewed the comedies VEEP, for a 5th season, and SILICON VALLEY, for a 3rd season.



More FOX remakes in development:
FOX is quickly becoming remake central, for its vast list of retreads in development. The latest is a TV adaptation of the cult 70's movie THE ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW. The TV movie will use the original script, with some "trimming" to make the project TV appropriate.
