Ratings Review: RIZZOLI & ISLES (Season Five - Spring 2015)

The winter episodes of RIZZOLI & ISLES seem to be a bit of an afterthought by both TNT and viewers. Viewership drops about 30-40 percent and it is just six episodes over five weeks.

I do understand that it is more of keeping the series on top of mind for viewers, during the series "off season," but the ratings would be better if all/more of the episodes aired with the summer run.

The ratings for Live+7 do include encores and multi-platform viewings. The Turner networks are using this combined ratings as their Live+7 number.

For the winter run, RIZZOLI & ISLES averaged 3.35 million viewers and a 0.6 rating in Adults 18-49, for the Live+SD ratings. Viewership more than doubles when the combined L+7 ratings are added in.
