Ratings Review: HALT AND CATCH FIRE (Season One)

HALT AND CATCH FIRE has been described as computer industry MAD MEN series. I have watched neither one of them, but the throwback of this period drama, to the early days of personal computing, does lend itself to the comparison.

 I have to believe that AMC is severely disappointed  in the ratings HALT AND CATCH FIRE produced. But, let's remember that MAD MEN was a series that did not draw a lot of viewers and it took BREAKING BAD the last (split) two seasons to generate viewership over two million viewers. Perhaps Netflix can help this series out, next year.

For the season, HALT & CATCH FIRE averaged 840,000 viewers and a 0.3 rating in Adults 18-49. The series will be back for a second season, in 2015
