Ratings Review: SILICON VALLEY (Season One)
SILICON VALLEY is a satirical look at the tech industry. From the mind of Mike Judge, he was able to capture the culture and personalities of a start up company in the Silicon Valley.
The ratings for this first season are promising. The numbers stayed consistent throughout the eight episodes, with little spiking of dips. The season average was 1.72 million viewers and a 1.0 rating in Adults 18-49. Much better than the show that followed it, on HBO, VEEP.
SILICON VALLEY has been renewed for a second season. And, if the buzz on the series can spread when the first season becomes available on streaming services, we could see a nice bump in the ratings, in 2015.
